Poles and tracks are crucial both to achieving the effect you are looking for as well as to be practical and hardwearing.  Louise Cowan Interiors sources your poles and tracks for you to suit any budget and design. I have selected suppliers for both quality and cost effectiveness – these include Cameron Fuller, Silent Gliss, Swish, Evans. As part of the service, I work with a professional fitter to install all the hardware, make sure the curtains and blinds hang beautifully and are correctly installed to all safety standards.

You’re not limited when it comes to fabric choices either. If you’re choosing a patterned fabric, I usually recommend keeping the back and border plain, but truly the options are endless. I’m always happy to help advise and design something that feels just right for your space.

As part of my service, I can also source the fabric for you, making sure it’s suitable and works beautifully for the design. Fabric prices can vary a lot, but for guidance I’ve based costs on £35 per metre and there are so many lovely options available within that range.

So many details go into making a Roman blind every fold carefully considered to fall beautifully and dress the window. Lots of different stitches are used, all designed to disappear from the front, leaving a flawless, effortless finish…

Two bay windows in this double fronted home needed dressing, and the best solution was going to be Roman blinds rather than curtains. Using the same fabric for both was an easy decision, it worked beautifully.

We chose a boucle-style fabric from @prestigioustextiles to introduce texture in a calm, neutral palette. It sits gently within the rooms, adding warmth and cosiness without ever dominating the space….

So I add small, perfectly matched fabric flaps to disguise it following the pattern seamlessly around the blind. It’s those thoughtful little details that make all the difference…..

I’ve been busy making six Roman blinds for two beautiful bay windows. We chose a stunning boucle-style fabric from @prestigioustextiles, the texture and creamy natural tones are just gorgeous.

This fabric will soften the windows, add warmth, and bring that cosy, layered look we all love. Adding lots of texture to your room really does create such a cool, inviting vibe.
